WoodWing's Publishing Process
WoodWing knows that today's content publishers not only include magazines and newspapers, but also corporate communication offices, ad agencies, and online-only companies.
Regardless of industry, and regardless of size, all content producers follow a similar process of planning, creating, editing, and publishing. WoodWing serves customers all over the globe, as well as organizations from 8 to over 800.
Hovering over an orange element will display a more detailed explanation of the step. When available, clicking on an orange button will show a movie of the Enterprise publishing system in action with WoodWing's Evangelist, Victor Cardoso, in the driver's seat.

- Content Planning Click to see a video!
Content Planning typically takes place before a product is created. Managers or editors get together and plan what textual, graphic, audio or video materials to use and then make assignments. Sometimes a Page Planning application is also used in this step, which shows reserved space for advertising or editorial content. - Gather/Create Click to see a video!
The Gather/Create stage is where users gather content from external sources such as a website, Wire or Agency Feeds, Digital Asset Management Systems, Archives or RSS feeds or create the content themselves using applications like WoodWing's Content Station, Adobe InCopy, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Microsoft Office applications. - Select/Edit See the video at Gather/Create. The Select/Edit stage is where content managers choose which pieces of content to deliver to which mediums. This stage is also where editing of the content is performed.
